The internet is a powerful tool that connects people worldwide, offering endless opportunities for learning, communication, and entertainment. However, it also comes with serious risks, especially for young people. Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OSEA) is a growing concern, affecting thousands of individuals every year. From online grooming to sextortion and cyber harassment, many young people are exposed to situations where their safety, privacy, and well-being are at risk.
Recognizing these dangers, the bE-aware Youth Engagement & Awareness Campaign was created as part of the bE-aware Project, an EU-funded initiative aimed at educating and empowering youth to navigate the digital world safely. Through this campaign, we provide the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to recognize online threats, take preventive measures, and access support when needed.
